As regards the above considerations, it is reported that there are a total of six expeditions up to November / 5th in the ongoing market operations program in the financial year 19-20.The management fined Tk 329,500 / -.Protecting consumer rights, preventing anti-consumer activity,Leaflets, pamphlets and stickers are distributed to increase awareness of consumer and business responsibility. District Monthly meetings of the Consumer Rights Committee are held regularly.On March 7, rallies and talks were missed on the occasion of World Consumer Rights Day at the district and upazila level.Also, various upazilas are being inspected and coordination between other departments concerned with consumer rights"Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009"A mass rally is being organized to raise public awareness through the campaign.
